[Accidental Voice/Action]
[The journal pops open as it hits the ground, the camera pointed straight upwards into the trees. There's nothing to be seen other than branches and leaves, and at first it may seem like just an accident... but the sounds that it picks up make it very clear this isn't just someone being careless and letting their journal fall out of a bag. In fact, the very first thing that anyone will hear is the sharp report of a gunshot, followed immediately by yelling.]
Law! Behind you!
On it. Room. [There’s a flash and the branches and leaves are now washed out by a blue glow. There’s the sound of a growl, the snap of electricity, and then an explosion.] Watch out! They’re swarming!
[Two more gunshots echo over the journals.]
Damn it... how many of them are there?
Can’t tell yet, Gai. [More explosions, and the crack of wood being torn apart. Then the groan and thud of trees crashing down.] They’re still coming out of the woodwork.
[Another shot.]
Guess we should be honored they felt we needed this much of a welcoming committee.
Goodness knows I’m flattered. [Metal clanging.] Perhaps this is what they think consists of therapy. [A crack.] Ugh. Well, if they’re offering, who am I to refuse? I’ve got a few issues to work out…
Too bad I prefer my therapy to be one on one.
[Another clang, then a thud. There's another wash of light, this time silver rather than blue-- a light that should be very familiar to a certain Shu Ouma if he happens to be looking into the journal while all of this is going down.
The sounds of combat continue for a while longer, at last dwindling down to an almost painful silence. This silence lingers for a long moment, heavy, until Gai's voice finally breaks it, exhausted yet triumphant.]
... they'd better not charge us for that session.
[Anyone who happens by the Battle Dome after this little spectacle will be treated to the sight of a battered and exhausted Gai and Law surrounded by droid fragments and damaged trees. They're in surprisingly good spirits considering what just happened, though some healing would be very much appreciated right about now.]

Action;
Why? Maybe this was to repay the fact of how colossally insensitive he had been those few weeks back. Maybe it was for the action. Maybe it was to put a new friend at ease.
Whatever the case is, he's running to the battle dome with a first aid kit
sorry guys that's the best of healing you'll get from himand his throwing knives in hand. By the time he gets there it's all over. Mumbling to himself he just steps over the droids towards the two exhausted fighters.]Jeez...you didn't even leave one intact.
Action;
... my techniques don't seem to agree with them, I'm afraid. Neither does my friend's.
Action;
[There's a small sigh. Okay, be calm. Breathe. Don't snap at any mean comments that this guy may make.
Cross will walk towards Law hiding the fact that he's nervous as heck at getting snapped at.]
It's not magic, but, I got a first aid kit here. It'll do 'til someone gets here.
Action;
... besides they got a droid to study at Law's first kidnapping.]
... worst is the ribs. I'm handling those. [There's a glowing hand pressed against his side. Filial magic is handy.] If you could get the head wounds, I'd be appreciative.
Action;
Yeah, I can do that much.
[Basic first aid did cover at least that much. Going over to Law he'll just start opening the kit up. First the disinfectant.]
Hopefully you can bear with me on this part. All things considered.
[He begins cleaning the wounds now with a cotton ball.]

Action;
Do I even want to know what worse is?

[Pause.]
Go for it.
Action; 3/3
Theeeen there was that time I was attacked by the droids earlier this year. I was drugged, had a concussion, broken ribs, internal bleeding and a mangled wing that had to be amputated among the main injuries. Destroyed the damn things but spent a month in clinic for that one.
... then there was my first kidnapping. My navigator and I got trashed fighting the droids, and though I won the first time around... I wasn't really intact... [And you know. He still doesn't want to talk about that one.] It got a lot worse once I was finally taken in.
[He's shrugging to cover anything that doesn't hint at casualness.]
Re: Action; 3/3
As for the other stuff...yeah...I uh...I don't think that's happened to me. 'Cept with the amputation, but, I was unconscious...and it was an arm.
[The last part of Law's story does make him feel a bit weak at the knees. He doesn't even want to begin to imagine how bad it was.
When he's finally done bandaging he steps back.]
Hope that's good. At least for now. Basic first aid only gets you so far and all.

Action;
Take that up with the Malnosso. I'm sure they'd be happy to send some more out after you.
Action;
[It's a joke. Or at least he's trying to find some humor, even if certain revelations about Gai via Elizabeth has made this more awkward for him.
Approaching Gai he'll extend the first aid kit out to Gai.]
This is all I got. Sorry magic is not my specialty.
Action;
[Gai's sense of humor isn't much better at the moment. He'll try, though, because there's a sense of near-giddiness that comes from having fought off so many droids and escaped (mostly) in one piece.]
Got any bandages in there?
Action;
[There's a questionable look at that question.]
I don't think I could call it a proper first aid kit if it didn't have bandages.
Anyway, you want me to do it or do you?
Action;
[If there's one thing Gai doesn't like, it's people who aren't Inori, Elizabeth, or Law touching him.]
And we wouldn't be trapped here if they were dumb. Someone would've figured out a way to escape a long time ago.
Action;
'kay, here ya go. [He'll just stuff that first aid kit in your hands, Gai.]
They still would've had to contend with the barrier if they tried to escape.
Action;
People have tried to escaped before, and they've failed every time. The Malnosso aren't letting us get out that easily. They like to keep their lab rats in their cages.
Action;
[It's sarcasm, but he gets what Gai means. It was true. The Malnosso may provide for the whole enclosure, but they did like to have their fun and mess with them.]
Action;
[And honestly, compared to the experiments he'd been put through before? Most of this stuff isn't bad at all. He can deal with this.]
Action;
[He's not sure if he likes practical.]
Least this isn't your average Thursday. I'd be kind of worried.
[Except not really. Gai could probably take this stuff every Thursday.]
Action;
[He could, and he'd have fun with it, too.]
