For once in his life, Gai doesn't know what to think. What disturbs him more than any of these other revelations is the fact that Segai was right-- the man was telling the truth.

That's right, Gai. You're adam.
[Shu had been asked to take the seat of adam but he fully declined it. So all the rights went to Gai.]

[The fact that Shu turned Mana down makes him somewhat angry; not that he can blame the other boy for it, but didn't he realize yet that it was the only way to put an end to everything?

[Gai is opening his mouth to snap back a reply to that when a sudden stabbing pain shoots up his arm courtesy of the virus crystals that are covering it, transforming what he was going to say into a grunt of pain.]
