[She laughs again, going back to watching him play with her. She liked watching him pinch and tug her, for whatever reason. Perhaps because it was something she had no experience with at all, and it was her breast he was playing with.]

What about eating? Or bathing? Or going outside and seeing the sun? [She reaches forward and reciprocates on Gai's nipple.] I think those are a little important too.

Who says we can't do this outside or in the bath?

[Surely Elizabeth has read about those possibilities in those romance novels by now. And if not, Gai will just have to introduce her to the concepts. Life needs some adventure in it, after all.

... which Elizabeth is currently providing by reaching out to play with his nipple. He's torn between thinking that's perfectly fair and not fair at all, and at last he settles on thinking that it feels fantastic and that he could go for more of this.

But there's something more important that needs to be attended to first. He does have another hand, and while rubbing her back is nice, there's something much more fun he could be doing with it.

Like sliding it down in between them to find a certain spot to rub...]

Outsi--daahngh...!

[Not the most intelligent contribution she's ever made to a conversation but no one in the world could blame her. Discomfort is almost immediately forgotten, and Elizabeth slides up to press against the rubbing with a desperate little gasp.]

We'll talk... about that later...!

[Now she's concentrating on sliding back down and feeling all of Gai ripple back into her.]

I'm not doing this right if you can still talk.

[His own voice is a breathless growl-- it's clear that seeing and hearing her react to his touch is going a long way towards working him up too, even if he isn't going to start moving his hips just yet.

It's so hard to hold still when she lifts herself up and then slides back down onto him, though. He can't quite stop his hips from rolling just the tiniest fraction up to meet her despite his best efforts to maintain control. Hopefully she's ready for that, though given how quickly her coherency seems to be deserting her, he's getting the feeling that the answer to that is yes.]

[It is yes, coincidentally.]

[Elizabeth might not have adjusted one hundred percent to Gai, but the rubbing between her legs more or less lit her fire. She whimpers a little when Gai rolls into her and immediately pulls up again. Well, she struggles to do it because the couch cushions squish under her hands, but then she braces herself on Gai's shoulders which are certainly firm and built for this very purpose probably.]

[But she slides out, methodically looking for the spot inside of her, wanting to drag Gai across it.]

[And Gai is moving to help her, his other hand slipping beneath her leg to help lift her up as she moves and adjusts herself atop him, all the while never stopping that rubbing on that spot that has been rather neglected for a while.

No doubt she's realizing now why Gai had suggested this particular position: she can angle herself however she likes to get pressure in all of the right places inside her while Gai's hand works outside. She has control, and Gai is just following her lead.

Well, following her lead and getting a bit more enthusiastic with the motions of his hips, since it's clear that she's all right with him moving now.]

[Their first time was perfect, obviously. But Elizabeth could get used to this position. Gai's hands all over her, they were face-to-face, maybe it was a little extra effort, but it felt incredible.]

[She slides back down with the motions Gai's giving her to work with. Talking is certainly out of the question now, and Elizabeth only gasps into Gai's mouth as she attempts to kiss him.]

[He's all too happy to return that kiss with more enthusiasm than technique at the moment. He's pretty sure that's forgivable given what they're currently doing, because it's pretty hard to rub at her, roll his hips up and help lift her, and try to kiss at the same time. Given the way she's riding him, he also has a feeling she wouldn't be too pleased if his attention on those other two things happened to suffer as a result.

It's nice, in a way, to let her take the reins in this. Okay, so this is more of a gentle trot than a gallop at the moment, but she's obviously into it and growing more confident as she moves. Now if they can both just find the right spot...]

[Yes, Elizabeth isn't much for technique right now either. She just wants her mouth on Gai's mouth in some way or other because he's killing her from the outside in. That press on her nub, the feeling of him sliding in and out of her, she feels as though she could melt right into Gai's chest and give her whole self to him.]

[She makes little grunting noises that indicate the effort she's going to to push Gai in and pull him out with any sense of rhythm. The spot still goes untouched, but Elizabeth is feeling pleasure just from the hand on her and the feeling of Gai sliding inside.]

[That experiment had been the last, bloody, straw. Not only did he learn about the volunteers setting off a bomb and sentencing the cultists death the night before, but, he went and blabbed some of his very few well kept secrets to some of his friends the day after.

Damn it, he hated this. He was so sick of it. Why was he just always being thrown about in this world? Why as his hero face becoming so much harder to keep glued on over all his unimportant problems?

All that raw emotion stewing inside, the anger, the frustration, the sadness of it all has just made him run off to the battle dome for a bit.

He wants to siphon his anger out and he'll do that by hitting some moving targets for awhile. And when he's in and programming some of the targets, he tries to remained focus on the terminal, trying to cut out all other noise for the time being.]

[Gai being Gai, he has a tendency to peek in at everyone else who is using the Battle Dome at the same time he is. Just information gathering, seeing what sorts of things others set up for their simulations and what they're capable of. Knowledge is power, and this is an easy way to gain a little bit of that in the process of his own daily training.

He recognizes this particular boy as the one who had caused such a fuss when he'd announced the results of the mission not too long ago. The one who reminded him of Shu in the most infuriating way possible. It's tempting, so tempting, to say something to interrupt him... but he won't. That wouldn't accomplish anything other than getting Cross even more pissed off at him.

So instead he'll just stand outside the room and watch silently, assessing Cross' skill level. The look on his face is not a very impressed one, though.]

[Wow, Creeper much?

The simulation he keeps on making becomes more and more complex the longer he stares down at it. It's almost another ten minutes before he is finally satisfied with what he's got.

He turns to leave the controls and when he exits, he abruptly stops when there is a much taller person in front of him. He turns his head up to get a glimpse of the person's face. Instantly, his face sours and his anger intensifies seeing this certain blond guy.]

You want something?

[His words are even laced with a noticeable poison. It's all he can manage to not make it sound like a growl as he asks.]

[That tone in Cross' voice just makes Gai's lips curl up into a smirk. There's a perverse sort of satisfaction that comes from the knowledge that he pissed the other boy off enough to earn that level of venom... it's petty, maybe, but he'll take it as a small victory. After that mission, anything he can get is good enough for him.]

Yeah, I was hoping for some free entertainment.

[That smirk, those words. Oh he definitely wants to smash this mechanical arm he loves so much right into this guy's face. But, no. No, he could play it off. Be completely neutral about it. Bury his feelings. He was good at that.

So, he tries to slip his expression into disinterest and boredom. Gazing off to the side to try and improve the mask of someone who didn't care.]

Yeah? Well, I'd like a motorcycle. Doesn't mean it's gonna happen right now.

[And then he looks back, his eye slightly twitching as he tries not to glare at that stupid grin Gai is wearing.]

Now if you don't mind I came here to practice.

[And he's just going to try and shove right past Gai...maybe attempt to "accidentally" elbow him in the rib cage.]

That's exactly the entertainment I was talking about.

[He's hit a nerve, he can tell even despite the neutral facade Cross is trying to put on. It isn't that he's trying to be outright mean, per se-- it's more that he's still irked over everything that went down on the locked post and wants to poke right back. That's just how Gai is.

He'll actually let Cross shove past him like that until the other boy tries the "accidental" elbow maneuver. When that happens, he'll stick out his leg in the hopes of tripping Cross up somewhat. If that's how Cross is going to play, he's fine with that.]

[And indeed he does get tripped up. If he were any normal sixteen year old he probably would've hit the ground and had a very sore face. Cross on the other hand plants his hand on the floor in mid fall and flips back onto his feet.

Oh that tears it.]

That's it! You want fun?! Well lets have a go!

[Hmm, not bad. There's the slightest trace of approval on Gai's face, though it's hard to see it past that smirk. Gai just shoves his hands in his pockets, looking for all the world like he's just having a casual conversation.]

I'd advise you to stand down if you know what's good for you. I'm not going to hold back otherwise.

[Cross only has blind fury playing through his head at the moment, so any approval that was there was easily lost. Be told to back down was not advice he'd follow.]

And you think I will if you don't? I'd say give me credit but you obviously haven't seen what I got to give!

[And he'll throw a punch this time at Gai's chest.]

[Gai was already anticipating that response and steps aside easily, reaching for Cross' arm in an attempt to use the boy's own momentum to flip him. Cross doesn't seem entirely unskilled, but if he can be provoked this easily, that doesn't speak well for him on the battlefield.]

Then show me what you've got.

[And indeed it does flip him. He hits the ground with a slam and there's an audible grunt that escapes his mouth.

But he's learned just enough from that one movement. Gai was good. Not only that, but Gai's height gave him an advantage. Cross was only shorter by at least a foot or so but that was enough to already give Gai a lead. But the skills, yeah, that's another thing Gai had over him. He's older no doubt. More time, more skills. That was the main advantage. A lot of the math was adding up to him not having a good chance in this fight.

However, he was under and had his own advantage.]

Plan on it.

[With a swift motion he's already moving again, crouching and sweeping his leg to knock Gai's footing out of place.]

[In light of everything that happened yesterday Shu's still angry and bitter at Gai.

He honestly doesn't even know why he's bothering to call Gai.

Oh wait, Shu's here to complain. His voice sounds cold and void of emotion, compared to how he was the other day. Shu's worn out from all that emotional strain so he sounds nearly robotic.]

Leave me alone from now on and I promise I won't even get near Elizabeth. You must understand that agreeing to this is the only thing you can do right now.

Even you can't say no to this. Besides, with how you treated me I'm positive that you think I'm nothing but a temperamental idiot. You don't even see me as a friend, so why should I see you as one? Give me a reason to think better of you before I decide to cut you off completely.

[Oh for--

This is so very Shu that Gai can't help but roll his eyes. Instead of just ignoring him and cutting off contact, he calls up Gai to tell him he's going to do so and tries to start a conversation in the process. Definitely Shu. But he'll humor the boy for the moment and go along with this.]

Did I ever say for a moment that I didn't see you as a friend? Or is that just another conclusion you're jumping to on your own?

[Gai never said that, no. Shu feels a little bad for assuming that now.]

Then what did you want me to think after how you treated me last time? A punch to the face isn't exactly a friendly greeting.

I know you aren't friendly, but you could have at least tried to explain things to me before saying that I was unfit to be in charge.

I guess Inori was lying when she said you said thank you after you died.

[That comment about what Inori heard makes him bristle, in part because that is in fact what he'd said. Shu bringing it up in a situation like this just makes him feel awkward and defensive, though.]

I would've explained things to you if you hadn't been so busy jumping to your own conclusions and insulting my girlfriend. You were the one who started things off by accusing me of abandoning Funeral Parlor in favor of her, or have you already forgotten that?

And you think I insulted her? I barely spoke to her. You just don't want me to get near her.

You're too busy being protective of her that you've lost sight of the important things. The Gai I knew wouldn't have responded to that so emotionally.

It doesn't matter if you wanted to explain things before or not. The point is that you didn't. I'm capable of figuring everything out on my own and I don't need your approval. I've got important decisions to make that will decide the fate of hundreds of people. I can't be worrying about your girlfriend.
