[This time Gai does kiss her back, not with raging passion but with considerably more desire than his last kiss. He's slowly getting there; a little more like this and he'll be ready to go again. Just this quiet intimacy is going a long way towards that goal, too.]

That's a pretty romantic image. [And he smiles.] Where I come from, we have a legend about destined lovers being connected by a red string. It's said that the gods tie the string to the little fingers of two people who are destined to meet so that they'll be sure to find each other some day. The thread can tangle or stretch, but it will never break.

Maybe there wasn't any coincidence to it after all.

I like that legend. [Elizabeth holds up her right hand, the one with the thimble, then grins and holds up her left.] I guess mine is tied to this one, then?

[Still smiling, Gai lifts his own hand so he can hook his pinky with hers.]

This is the first time I've ever really put much stock in it myself.

[Elizabeth isn't familiar with the gesture, but she's thrilled by it anyway. She's never been one for myths or fairy tales except purely as fiction. But they were brought to a different place entirely, not on Earth, from years apart. If there was such a thing as a red string that tied people together, theirs was terribly long and very persistent.]

[She grins and tugs Gai's hand over towards her and kisses where their fingers are joined.]

[Now Gai laughs, dropping a kiss against her hair as she kisses their hands. This is more like it, that comfortable feeling of just being close to each other, even if it's not in the way he'd been hoping for before they got sidetracked like this.]

Consider this a promise. No matter what happens, we'll come find each other.

No matter what, I promise. [That would be an easy enough promise for her to keep. She'd rip open the world to find Gai, and she wouldn't have to rest until she found him.]

[Elizabeth runs her other hand over Gai's collarbone and holds his gaze for a moment.] I interrupted what we were doing. Can you lie back so I can make it up to you?

[This prompts another raise of Gai's eyebrows, but unlike the last time, it's clear from the look on his face that this one isn't negative in the slightest.]

How could I say no to an offer like that?

[And he shifts a bit, turning himself sideways so that he can do what she asked and lie down on the couch, grey eyes fixed intently on her. He actually isn't sure what she has in mind right now, which just makes it all the more appealing to him.]

[Well... it's nothing terribly heated or racy--yet. Elizabeth lays down next to Gai, intending to rekindle his desire for her slowly. Naturally.]

[She starts with one arm around him, her other resting on his shoulder. And she just kisses him--lips, jaw, neck, ear, shoulder... she seems intent to explore every part of Gai with her lips.]

[When she kisses his lips, he chases after that kiss, wanting to keep it going for a while longer. In a strange way, that little interruption has actually made him feel closer to her; this gentle, soft kissing is stoking that flame within him once again far faster than anything more intense would.

Gentle and loving, and he lifts his own hand to run up and down her back as she does this, just encouraging her.]

[After she makes it down Gai's sternum, she shuffles back up to Gai to continue kissing him in earnest. Maybe because of his hands comforting her as she tries to pull Gai away from the dark place she inadvertently led them to. Maybe because Elizabeth loves kissing his lips.]

[After a few more kisses, she tries to deepen it with a little slip of tongue. Her fingers still trace over Gai's shoulders.]

Be honest... if you could have me do anything right now, what would it be?

[Elizabeth is welcome to love kissing his lips all she wants-- he has no objections to this whatsoever, as she'll no doubt be able to tell by the way he's returning those kisses now. The heat is returning to his responses, slowly at first but then with increasing speed when she deepens that kiss and adds tongue to the mix.

He's so into it that he almost whines a little when she pulls away to speak to him.]

Anything at all?

[Elizabeth hesitates for a moment, because she can almost hear the mischief in his voice.]

...yes, anything at all. [She asked--too late for caveats now. Besides, whatever Gai wants, Elizabeth is sure she'll enjoy doing it for him.]

[Really, the only reason Gai asked that at all was to get her wondering. He already knows what he wants, and it's probably nowhere near as exciting or daring as what she's expecting. Not this time. He's been holding back far too long and he desperately needs release.]

Well then...

[And he lets his voice slide down the register into what can only be described as a purr.]

I want to be one with you.

[Elizabeth blinks--that is a bit of a surprise, she'd thought Gai would need more buildup before he was ready again. But if he's ready, Elizabeth can be there in a few quick seconds too.]

Already? [She presses her body to him, semi-awkwardly sliding one of her knees up around Gai's.] I thought you might need me to... well. [She arches a bit, nearly pinning Gai's hips to the couch with her own. She sighs, clearly enjoying.] Work a little harder.

[Apparently Elizabeth has yet to learn one very important fact about teenage boys, and that's that they can go from zero to extremely turned on in mere seconds if they're in the right mindset. That kissing and touching served its purpose well, as she'll discover in a moment when Gai arches to meet her partway.]

Not that it wouldn't be fun, but I think things are already about as hard as they're going to get.

[... no, he couldn't resist that one, because she was practically asking for it with that comment.]

[Yeah, yeah she was. And she laughs at it like it's the most amusing double entendre she's ever heard.]

Yes, I think I can feel that. [Elizabeth shifts until she's in a prime position to roll her hips against Gai and get a little slide going right where she wants it. She hums, sighs deeply as she works herself up a little more. Maybe that talk cooled her down a little too much too.] Definitely hard. Just talk to me a little more? Right in my ear? I love that...

[Gai is all too happy to help her out with that, rolling his own hips against hers and letting out a pleased hum of his own at the friction it causes in very pleasant places. He really, really wishes he could feel this without the condom in the way, but no way is he going to risk that just for some momentary pleasure.

Her request causes him to grin and give her earlobe a soft nip-- looks like he enjoys talking to her that way too.]

Sure. What do you want to hear me say?

[Oh, she likes that little nip too. Elizabeth keeps rolling her hips against Gai, thinking is starting to get very difficult and so answering questions is even more difficult.]

Gai, you could recite the alphabet and I would melt. [Something finally comes to her thought.] Tell me how I feel when you're inside me.

How it feels for me?

[Oh, that is a topic he could wax poetic about... he'd thought. There are so many ways he could describe it, so many different sensations, yet somehow when he tries to find the words, he finds himself coming up short. It's hard to describe something that he just FEELS.]

Hot... so hot, like I'm going to melt right into you. And tight, all around me, squeezing me more than anything you can do with your hand.

[And then his voice turns a little more mischievous, a little more sensual.]

I can feel how wet it is even when I'm wearing this.

[Elizabeth clings to Gai, continues to rock against him as she listens. His voice alone could bring her to the brink, and she loves to hear it. Hands on his shoulders for balance, she continues moving in slow, deep pulls over Gai.]

[She gives a little breathless laugh, but it's definitely aroused and playful.] How?

[Gai's speech about the wonders of being inside of Elizabeth is interrupted by a groan when one of her movements apparently hits just the right spot and he's arching up against her a bit harder than before. It's pretty clear that he wants to be doing what he's talking about as soon as possible.]

It feels like gliding... there's no resistance at all. Just smooth and slick every time I thrust in. It's perfect, just like you.

[She gasps at the quick arch into her--clearly it hit just the right spot for her too. Elizabeth slides her hands into Gai's hair, to hang on. But she's thinking she's more or less already at the point where she's ready to change positions.]

Well it does take two to form a more perfect union. [Elizabeth grins and plants an open-mouthed kiss on Gai.] Put me on my back, I want to feel how perfect it is.

On your back?

[Gai has to consider this for a moment. That does sound nice, and he does like being on top, but he had kind of wanted her in his lap... he's torn. Why must he make a decision? HE WANTS IT ALL.]

We could do it that way, or you could sit in my lap. Which one do you want?

[He turns his head to kiss her hair again, grinning. He's willing to go with whichever one she'd prefer... at this point, he just wants to do it.]

Sit in... oh... [Elizabeth seems to recall reading something like it, but she didn't know if she was experienced enough to manage it last time. But maybe this time she can manage it...]

So I would just, do like we're doing now. But with you inside me?

[Now Gai lets one of his hands trail down to rest on her waist, thumb lightly stroking over the skin there.]

You got it. It'll be a bit more work for you, since you'll have to use your legs to help lift yourself up. But you can control how deep I go and the angle of it.
