[The events of a week and a half ago still hang heavy over Gai's mind, something that's unusual for him. He's had his body altered without his consent, even his mind during a few experiments before, but to have his memory messed with... it's far more disconcerting than even he wants to admit. Add in everything else that happened, and you've got one broody former terrorist leader who can't even take out his unhappiness in the Battle Dome due to that damn virus.

So he opts to express himself in another way that's familiar to him, one that doesn't require any physical exertion. Something tells him that he's not the only one feeling this way right now...

When the journal entry begins, the camera is covered, obscuring its owner. All there is is a song playing over the journals, letting the music and the lyrics speak for themselves.

But that isn't all. Once it finishes playing, a written message will appear in a neat and practiced hand.]

There is a universal constant among this world and every other. The world will always force a choice on those within it: either to sit quietly by and be selected out, or to adapt and change. Those are the only two paths that can be chosen.

Our opponents made a fatal mistake when they expected us to choose the former. They underestimated our desire to survive, and that proved to be their undoing. We rose to the challenge, and we survived. And we will keep on surviving, no matter what they may try to send at us. We won't roll over and play dead the way they expect us to.

Well done, Luceti. You should be proud.

[Elizabeth lets out a little surprised cry at the first pinch, then a pleased little groan at the second. She doesn't have any clue that Gai is having dubious thoughts about her talk with Jack--probably because she's too thrilled by the fact that he's fondling her through her chemise. It tells her that Gai wouldn't even be deterred if she were fully dressed, and isn't that a racy thought?]

Mm... Wouldn't you want my hands on you too, though? [She reaches forward, trying not to disturb Gai's hands on her as she slides them towards his lap.] Or my mouth...?

Yes... [Elizabeth looks down, realizing that Gai's just stopped cold. She frowns slightly, worried.] Though he did mention that everyone was different, it's alright if you don't want me to.

And... well... [She shrugs one shoulder in concession.] He didn't tell me what I should do, he was flustered and his husband was laughing... You'd have to tell me what to do.

Things will stay the same eventually.

There is no way these people can keep withstanding this Third Party.

[Next time the Shift might not end... he's wondering if that would be such a bad thing.]

He mentioned that too. That some people just like pleasing their partner. But I've never done anything for you, so I don't know if I like it or not.

But you used your mouth on me last time, I should do the same for you this time, right? [She leans into Gai's hands, puts one of hers on his.] You wouldn't do it if it was miserable.

There is a different between an army and people who are stubborn.

[Elizabeth hums and bites her lip again as Gai presses against her again. He's hard, and she likes it. She wants to try, especially if it will make Gai happy.]

Tell me what you like. [She blindly reaches a hand to slide into Gai's hair, to hold him by her ear like he is now.] I'm not trusting what I've read, tell me what to do.

[Elizabeth nods, though she's nervous she won't be able to keep Gai guessing. Only a grandmaster of chess could keep an experienced player guessing, and Elizabeth didn't want to hurt Gai trying to 'surprise' him.]

[She slides off of Gai's lap, a little unsteady on her feet again. She manages to unbutton her skirt and lets it drop to the floor, so it's out of her way as she kneels down in front of Gai.]

[Elizabeth does feel more than a little apprehensive faced with Gai's... manhood. How had Gai just pulled her apart and gone at it? This was incredibly intimidating. The blush rising on her cheeks the longer she stares at it is probably indicative of that.]

[Maybe she could start just with some touching. That was easy enough, she'd done that before. Gently, she wraps her fingers in a slightly awkward positioning around Gai and squeezes a little.]

[Elizabeth looks up at Gai when he inhales--that was good, probably. Yes?]

[She slides her hand up over Gai, trying to keep some kind of pressure on him. It was supposed to be like Gai was inside of her, presumably, when she used her hand or mouth. Which was hard, when she thought about it. All Gai had to do was lick her and that was enough. This was completely unfair.]

[Well... hardly Gai's fault he was just built this way. But it did add another layer of apprehension as she stroked him up and down and watched to gauge his reaction.]

[He says she's doing fine, but Elizabeth remembers being a little puddle at this point when Gai touched her. True, she shouldn't be too critical of her ability when Gai was more experienced than her in these things, but she wants to make him writhe like she had.]

[So she just throws all caution to the wind and leans forward to lick the head. Surprise, Gai.]

You mean that getting out of here so they stop being used as guinea pigs and have a real chance to return to their families and worlds isn't enough to keep them motivated? Rhetoric question, I've been here and seen those idiots long enough to know the answer.

Do you really think that most of them still care about escaping? Assuming they ever cared about it. They are motivated to move forward, but their forward isn't the same a person with common sense would choose.

I'm just not sure we should be commended so easily for winning a battle. They expect a fight from us and we won it. I don't know that it's as much of an accomplishment as you're making it out to be.

As much as I agree with that, I've found that not letting people debrief can be just as messy, and it might actually make things worse.

--Also, trust me. People've got a long memory. Things like this don't get forgotten easily.

[He knew that from experience. Although six months had no passed since he learned the truth, it wasn't something that he was going to just ignore. Even if he knows there's a positive resolution...there's no way to be sure.]

Doubt anyone wants to go and get shot. Pretty sure death can be painful, even if it's not permanent.
