Appointments Post
This post can be used to thread with or get in contact with Gai at any point when he doesn't have a post up! Just comment here (please use the format [Action, June 24th], [Voice, March 5th], etc. to make it clear when the thread is taking place and what type of thread it is) for a thread with him; if it's a continuation of another thread or post, please link that so I remember the context of the thread.
[Action, December 1]
That was thoughtful of you.
[Action, December 1]
It's nothing. [Moving along. They don't need to talk about this (even if Shu was the one who brought it up but that's besides the point.) Gai can get clothes and stuff later. Shu drags Gai down the hallway if Gai will allow him to. ]
Let's go someplace else.
[Action, December 1]
[Now Gai does sound a bit irritated because he has no idea what Shu has in mind here. He'd just come back to pick up a few things, not go on a field trip... but he's not trying to pull away from Shu either.]
[Action, December 1]
[Because he is so tired and he could really use food.]
Do you want to go or not?
[Action, December 1]
Yeah, sure. Let's go to Seventh Heaven.
[Action, December 1] i seriously have no idea how that r got in there
What's so great about Seventh Heaven? I've never been there myself.
[Action, December 1] MAGIC
It's a restaurant that serves just about anything you can think of to ask for. Just the thing when you find yourself with a ramen craving.
[It's also where he eats most of the time, because what is cooking?]
[Action, December 1] Magically summons letters into places where they don't belong
What will you order then? [They should be at Seventh Heaven within the next few minutes.]
[Action, December 1] it is a rare and wondrous skill
Don't know. It's been a while since I've had okonomiyaki... I should ask if they can do it Hiroshima-style.
[Action, December 1] cries into hands
They might be able to. Do they have Onigiri? [Shu that is not a meal.]
[Action, December 1] /awesomeface
[And yes, Gai does eat. In fact, he eats quite a lot, thank you.]
[Action, December 1] HOW DID I JUST GET THIS NOTIF NOW
[TOO MUCH. No wonder he's so big and Shu is a prune.]
[Action, December 1] IDEK MAN
[Action, December 1] IDEK MAN
We'll have to order something. I'll ask them for food. You can find a place for us to sit.
[Action, December 1]
Suit yourself.
[Fortunately it's not too crowded, so it doesn't take him long at all to find a nice quiet booth for the two of them.]
[Action, December 1]
He sees no problem with this. After a few minutes, Shu returns to the table Gai found.]
There you are.
[He takes the seat across from Gai.]
[Action, December 1]
This is almost like being back at home again.
[Action, December 1]
Do you mean the world we left behind or a place where you feel safe?
[A serious question, Gai. Shu's lowering his head and he starts to feel homesick.]
[Action, December 1]
[Although perhaps calling that "home" was a misnomer. As far as he's concerned, Luceti is his home now. It's not like he can go back to their world even if he wanted to.]
[Action, December 1]
In that case, I suppose. [He misses those days and it shows.] It's almost time. [It's December first. By December 25th it'll mark another anniversary for Lost Christmas.]
[Action, December 1]
[He frowns, expression darkening. Neither one of them needs to say more; they both know exactly what is meant by "almost time." It's not a subject Gai wants to dwell on, and he suspects it's the same for Shu... although this year might be different now that Shu's memories are back. Whether that will make Shu want to think about it more or less, however, still remains to be seen.]
[Action, December 1]
But it's over now, isn't it? That won't happen again?
[Action, December 1]
It's all over. We stopped it for good this time. The apocalypse has finally been averted.
[But at what a cost...]
[Action, December 1]
It was all thanks to you. [What Gai had to do wasn't something Shu completely understood at first. Was there really no other way to end it?
No matter what options there may have been, they were left with this conclusion. Shu would gladly lose an arm if it mean that no one had to worry about the Apocalypse Virus.]
[Action, December 1]
My plan wouldn't have succeeded if you hadn't done exactly what I'd been counting on you to do.
