Good morning, and let me first extend my welcome that you will be working on the staff of Lux. It would be easy to have a blurb here about the sort of service I wish to provide to Asgard, but that's something of a formality I would rather skip.
As such, there is a mandatory orientation meeting tomorrow. Arrive at Lux at noon—lunch will be provided, naturally. I would like our staff to meet each other so that we can avoid any potential complications from existing rivalries. It seems that a sizable portion of the population of Asgard is prone to them.
If you are unable to attend, please let me know. Otherwise, you're fired.

((ooc: And there is a log for this here! You don't have to post, haha, but he's serious about firing anyone that doesn't show, so we can handwave it lmao))
[Shu, did you really think you could fool someone who's been a soldier into thinking everything is fine? He knows how to tell when someone is hurt and Shu is being pretty damn obvious right now.]
Sometime around 4am in the morning Gai will get a call from Shu.
All he can hear is awkward moaning and groaning. It might sound a little suggestive I mean what Shu's supposed to be in his room sleeping too. His groaning is so loud Gai might want to do something about it.]
[And thus it is that Gai is awakened at an ungodly hour by what sounds like Shu doing questionable things. He's... not entirely sure what the cause of them is and he's not sure he WANTS to know, but he'll just be quiet and listen for a few moments so he can get a better idea of just what is going on in there.]
[... is he actually...? Wow. Gai is not sure whether to be impressed that Shu actually made a home run or preparing himself for Inori to come complaining to him tomorrow about how Shu did everything wrong.
Assuming that this is actually what's going on, of course. There's also the possibility that Shu is just having a very interesting dream. Gai is going to find out which one it is!]
You'd better be using protection if you know what's good for you.
[... well that was odd but then again it's Shu, so it's not that much of a surprise. Gai will just shrug and continue running his errands before making his way back home. He's not concerned because if it were anything serious there would be a lot more flailing.]
[With everything that happened back at home he found it hard to believe that he came back here. Since Gai and Inori were still on the contact list he assumed they were alive somewhere. It wouldn't hurt to leave Gai a message especially considering how long he's been gone for. Last time Shu ran away from home Gai explicitly stated he wanted a note left somewhere for the both of them, but in this situation it couldn't be helped. The least he could do was apologize for his short comings.]
Sorry for not telling you I left.
[There's a short pause here indicated by a muffled sigh. He doesn't want to be going back to Gai for this. Not after he remembered everything, Triton included. There would be too much explaining involved.]
[There's silence for a moment as Gai mulls over what to say. He's honestly not surprised Shu vanished again-- the boy's luck is terrible enough (and he's forgetful enough) that it's easy for him to believe that Shu simply lost his bracelet or something to that effect. To be honest, he's a little surprised that hasn't happened yet given Shu's track record.
But "telling you I left" implies that he did so voluntarily, which raises a whole host of other questions, all of which Gai intends to ask at some point.]
You mean aside from being worried that you vanished without a word?
[He didn't exactly leave to his own accord. A dog took his bracelet off and he lost it. Unlucky as usual. During his time time away he went back home and somehow carried the Apocalypse Virus symptoms too. Woops. That kind of punishment is fitting for the amount of sins he's committed during Loop 7. At least Souta's cured. As for Shu's void it returned back to him and there's nothing there except for the stub that used to be his arm.
He's going to have to explain this too, isn't he? Shu's not willing to give out all of the details yet. They may be too graphic and they still make him upset to some extent. ]
It couldn't be helped. I went home for a few months.
[He knew that Gai had Inori trapped somewhere in Odaiba and he set out to to save her. Gai doesn't need to know that either, but at least he can stop worrying about that for now. Shu was speaking to the Gai that he's always been used to and the one that he stabbed at Roppongi. It matched up with what Inori said to him earlier and Gai's story of him dying. Forget the white haired Gai for now.]
[To say that Gai isn't curious about what happened in Roppongi and Tokyo after his death would be a lie. But if it's been a few months since the last thing Shu remembered before... that means that Shu has now experienced Gai's death for himself and everything that went along with it.
Shu must remember now-- about Mana, about Lost Christmas, about Triton. In a way, he's glad, because now he'll get the chance to spend time with a best friend who actually remembers that he's Gai's best friend. But at the same time...]
... it's only been a few days here. You haven't missed much.
voice;
Useless, Gai.
Either way Shu will leave you a brief but informative message.]
You're probably....wondering what I've been up to for the past few months.
I'm going to send you a report of everything that's happened so far.
[ooc: And then Shu send this to Gai without the hooker tags. Pretend they don't exist.]
voice;
Getting laid, unlike youMost likely out gathering information and looking around for a job. More useful than you.]
An illness cured by emotions? And here I thought I was finally finished with these fairytales...
What became of Segai after that? Have you heard anything about his whereabouts since then?
voice;
It must be those steel abs. GUYS WITH COCKY FACES D8<
]i mean gais with cocky faces.
Your job's not done yet, Gai. We have to finish this together.
No. Nothing. There haven't been sightings of antibodies after that either.

[No, that does not sound like a normal response. His voice is oddly heavy with hints of pain in them.
Please disregard the fact Shu hasn't been home all day. He's been too busy getting beat up by Senji.]
Sorry, I can't come home tonight. Tell Inori.
[That's as quick as he can make it without giving away the fact he got injured.
He doesn't need to worry Gai constantly.]
voice
Where are you?
voice
In the hospital. Don't worry about me and just look after Inori.
voice
[There had better be a good rea-- no wait this is Shu we're talking about.]

It hurts.
[But this is a good dream so not in the way Gai would expect
or would heAnyways more groaning. Actually add some heavy breathing with that and it'll be accurate. ]
Your skin is so soft.

What do you mean more?
