[Elizabeth is a little glad Gai cuts her off, because she can't quite remember exactly how the next line goes. And obviously her stumbling around trying to fit the words to the music would be painfully obvious to the one who wrote it in the first place.]

[She wraps her arms around his shoulders, almost feeling Gai's delight through his skin. She made him happy, thank goodness.]

Write me something happy. [Elizabeth smiles, barely brushing her lips against Gai's.] And I'll sing it, over and over like a broken record.

[Very happy, as he is currently conveying through his kiss. When at last they part to breathe, he gives her a genuine smile and rests his forehead against hers.]

I don't know if I can, but I'll try.

[The songs he wrote... they weren't happy songs. That was Inori's domain, not his. His songs were dark, melancholy, because they gave him a place to express the feelings he didn't have any other outlet for. "Happy" is a strange and unfamiliar territory for him. But if that's what she wants, then he'll give it his best.]

[Elizabeth looks down at Gai's mouth and runs her fingers over his jaw softly. She doesn't want to dig up more sadness and depression, but she can only think that Gai's songs come from his heart. And if it's such a somber and dark place, Elizabeth must not be loving him enough. Not that sadness was something either of them could avoid completely, but she can't imagine Gai wanting to be reminded, by Elizabeth, of how dark his world had been.]

Then write me something you want to hear me sing. Something that will make you happy.

[Gai turns his head to the side just enough to kiss those fingers as they trace his jaw. Not like when he'd licked her finger before-- this is a light, loving kiss to show his appreciation. Just the fact that she understands what he meant by that and isn't pushing the issue further means the world to him, and it's at times like this that he can't help but feel that the two of them were made for each other.]

That I think I can definitely manage.

[She smiles, finger tracing the line of Gai's mouth as it pulls back from her fingers.]

I don't want to make you sad when I sing, that's all.

[There were songs she couldn't sing without wanting to cry, after all. Music could be the cheap, consumable thing that Fink stole and sold, or it could be haunting and beautiful, it could cut straight to the soul. And words that looks simple on a page could be something else entirely when said aloud.]

Your singing could never make me sad.

[Not if she was singing a song he wrote and if she was singing it for him. No matter how sad the lyrics may be, something tells him that it would always manage to warm his heart. That's one thing he's sure of.

... but now he wants to see if he can induce singing of a very different sort in her; he's being terrible and he knows it, but he uses this as an opportunity to slide his hand back down again to where it had been earlier...]

[And Elizabeth gasps, pulled completely out of the tender and concerned moment when she feels Gai's fingers between her legs. One minute talking about songs and singing, the next...]

[Of course, the moment has cooled her down a little, but she wants to get back to where they were. Elizabeth slides one of her legs over until it drops off the side of the couch--to open herself up a little.]

Gai... [She trails her hands down Gai's chest, knowing that she had a response to that statement somewhere in her...]

[Sorry, Elizabeth-- 18-year-old boys will be 18-year-old boys, and to be fair, they are naked on a couch in the middle of foreplay. Or were in the middle of foreplay, which Gai kind of wants to get back to as well. He gives a hum of approval when she spreads her legs a bit more, allowing him more space to settle between them, and he does so without even needing to be asked.

Another soft sound escapes his throat when she trails her hands over his skin like that. To return the favor, his own fingers give her a few gentle, almost reverent strokes just over the outside of her folds, wanting to get her worked up again before he really dives in.]

[As Gai starts touching her again, revving her engine so to speak, Elizabeth remembers what he said about wanting to hear how much she loves it. Of course even the memory of the statement makes her toes curl a little and her back lift off the couch just slightly.]

More like that... [She sighs softly, her body starting to tense with arousal.] Just a little longer, you can feel it, right?

[Nothing escapes those grey eyes. He sees that tiny arch of her back and his smile widens just a hair, pleased by how easy it is to pull reactions from her, and pleased that she's enjoying his touch.

He repeats that motion, this time skimming his finger over her opening but not pushing it in just yet.]

Yeah-- you're pretty worked up.

[And then, because he's curious to see if him saying racy things will provoke a similar reaction to when she does it to him...]

You're so wet I bet my fingers would slide right out if I put them in.

And whose fault is that? [She huffs out a laugh, but it's basically another pleasured sigh. It's enjoyable, the slow build-up back to where they were. Elizabeth is very pleased with how Gai is slowly coaxing her back to the steady heat of wanting him.]

[Elizabeth looks up at Gai, looking a little muddled and confused at this latest comment.] So you can't put them in...?

[Baby steps, Gai. Baby steps.]

[It's adorable, really, how Elizabeth sometimes takes what he says so literally. Part of her charm, in his eyes, and certainly not something he wants to change. He likes her just the way she is.

But there's really only one proper way to answer her question. Though he tries not to let it show, there might be a hint of mischief creeping into his eyes.]

Only one way to find out.

[Now he will slide that finger in, just slowly (probably more slowly than Elizabeth would prefer), watching her face the entire time he does so.]

[Wow... she really is wet enough to the point where she can't feel any resistance as Gai slides into her. The pacing doesn't leave her wanting, though. Right now she isn't quite on fire, she's still enjoying Gai touching her more intimately.]

[Her reaction to which is to feel across Gai's chest for his nipples and brush them just a bit. She can manage that much, even with her face turning pink, her bottom lip in her teeth, and her eyes locked to Gai's.]

[It's enough to get Gai's eyes to widen slightly in surprise when her fingers find what they're looking for. Normally the women he's been with haven't thought to really touch him there, perhaps out of some misdirected belief that men can't enjoy having someone touch their nipples too. He can't say they're a part of his body that he's ever given much thought to before... but somehow that touch sends a current of sparks straight to his spine, causing his finger to falter in its movements within her.

Oh. That feels nice. That feels very nice indeed. Nicer than he expected, which is probably a large part of the surprise.]

[Ah-hah. So Elizabeth has stumbled on one of Gai's tender spots too. How exciting. Elizabeth grins, despite what's going on down below, and traces a finger around one of Gai's nipples.]

[Now it's Gai's turn to let out a quiet groan. He hadn't anticipated how good something like that would feel, and it's more than a little distracting... in a good way, of course. It's going a long way towards getting him worked back up again too.

But Gai has a competitive streak a mile wide, meaning that if Elizabeth is going to try to distract him, he's going to give as good as he gets right back. He'll increase the pace of his finger and move his thumb up to rub at her, just gentle, teasing circles around the nub at first, then a more firm press when he thinks she won't be expecting it.

Two can play at this game, Elizabeth.]

[Meanwhile, Elizabeth has absolutely no competitive streak at all--but she does enjoy her back-and-forth with Gai. Her attention on Gai's chest wavers as he picks up his pacing and introduces his thumb, though she does try to keep up her concentration (last time she just stopped completely, and this time she wants to keep pleasing him). She lets out a little stuttering, pleased sigh, and her hips start rocking minutely against Gai's hand. The only thing that would make it perfect would be if she could kiss him again--but sitting up is so very out of the question. Her hands have to do the work, then. Her fingers play over his nipples, slide into the dips in his muscles, trace the tendons in his neck and rest on his collarbone.]

Gai... [God, he makes her feel so good. Better than she had ever imagined intimacy could be. Philosophizing about it makes the press of Gai's thumb all the more surprising, and oh she hadn't noticed until now how neglected that part of her was.]

[Gai's wish comes true, Elizabeth is singing for him: her back arched off the couch, crying out in a breathy, high-pitch that's satisfied and demanding more all at once. Her hands grip Gai's shoulders and she presses into his thumb needing more of him. The entirety of him.]

[Truth be told, she's pleasing him a great deal just by reacting to what he's doing to her. Gai is the sort of person who gets off on getting his partner off, meaning that every little sigh, every motion of her body just furthers his own arousal by that much. She could not be touching him at all and he would still be getting turned on by this-- but she is touching him, and that makes everything that much better. Even those gentle brushes across his skin in areas that aren't normally erogenous zones for him feel like little curls of flame starting in his nerves and working their way inwards and downwards to where his own arousal is steadily growing.

And oh, is he grinning when she cries out and arches up, pressing into his touch, her muscles clutching at his finger as he slides it in and out. He wants to make her scream, wants to reduce her to a puddle beneath him until all she can do is just cling to the couch for dear life and feel. From the sound of things, she's already well on her way there.]

Mouth! [Elizabeth gasps, still trying to rock into Gai's hand and get the same thrill that the press of Gai's thumb elicited from her. She doesn't even stop to consider that there's such a thing as being too earnest, but she wants him there. With every cell in her body she wants to feel his tongue curling into her again, and this time she knows to take it in and let him take her to pleasures she hasn't felt before. Because she trusts him, because she knows everything he'll ever do to her is only meant to cause total and blissful collapse of all ordered thought, leaving her with nothing but her love and a steadfast warmth holding her safe.]

[There's no such thing as being too earnest when it comes to things like this, in Gai's eyes. He likes hearing her say what she wants, likes being told what to do and how and where to touch her. He wants to do it every bit as much as she wants it, possibly more.

It's with great reluctance that he pulls his finger out, though, but not before he's given her another teasing stroke of his thumb over that spot in the hopes of drawing a few more of those oh-so-sexy cries out of her. He could lose himself in this-- in her. Just touching her, listening to her, watching her.

He slides back a bit, settles himself between her legs and leans down... and then just pauses for a moment, allowing himself the luxury of taking her all in before he moves to do anything further.]

[And she does cry out, the pressure forcibly yanking another wave of pleasure from her. Gai's hand was just as sinful as his tongue, apparently. And Elizabeth loves it. She doesn't even feel self-conscious as Gai watches her from between her legs, because she could lose herself in him too. Even spread out and vulnerable as she was, it felt right. It felt natural.]

[It also felt completely natural to lift her leg and stroke Gai's hip, just as a little encouragement.] How do I look today? [She grins teasingly, but she does want to know.]

Absolutely beautiful.

[To him, it's the truest statement he's ever made. There isn't anything about her that isn't perfect in his eyes, especially the part he's mere inches away from. Seeing how aroused she is and knowing that it's all because of him gives his ego no small boost, and it takes a concerted effort not to just lean in the rest of the way and go for it.

No, not yet. He wants to savor the moment (and the view, if he's honest with himself) first.]

I could say the same about you, Gai. [She reaches down, resting her hand over one of his. Then, with a little smirk of mischief, she attempts to get her knee over Gai's shoulder.]

But you are absolutely killing me right now. [She whines, flopping back completely on the couch.] Pretty faces get away with everything.

[Gai has absolutely no problems with allowing her to do that. In fact, he'll duck down a little to make it easier for Elizabeth to get her leg up there, letting out a pleased murmur at how it opens her up even more for him.]

You wouldn't be the first one to say that about me.

[What was it that Ayase had told him Shu said about him? "Cocky jerks with handsome faces"? Something to that effect.]

I'll just take it as a compliment.

[And then, because he rather enjoys "killing her" like this, he ducks his head down a little more to breathe warm against her, not making contact just yet.]

[Elizabeth gives another shaky exhale as Gai comes so close to her. She can almost feel him grinning as she moans in want and anticipation. Gai is clearly teasing her, but she's enjoying it almost as much as she loved his mouth on her breast. Not exactly where all of her heat was going, but she was addicted to Gai--not the pleasure, him. And what he did to her.]

It's meant to be one... [She curls a finger in Gai's hair and pulls a little, towards her. Just a little suggestion.] Though if you keep hovering over me like this, I might start berating you in earnest.
