Appointments Post
This post can be used to thread with or get in contact with Gai at any point when he doesn't have a post up! Just comment here (please use the format [Action, June 24th], [Voice, March 5th], etc. to make it clear when the thread is taking place and what type of thread it is) for a thread with him; if it's a continuation of another thread or post, please link that so I remember the context of the thread.
[Action]
Are you all right?
[Okay, so he's more than a bit proud too. Being able to please women in general is one thing. Being able to please his girlfriend is about a thousand times more important than that, so the knowledge that he's succeeding in this endeavor is incredibly gratifying to him.]
[Action]
[Still smiling, she points to her mouth.] I think you should start here, though.
[Action]
Well. How can he say no to that?]
That can be arranged.
[That's all he says before he's leaning in and his lips are on hers with no lack of passion, trying to make up for the fact that he's no longer touching her with this kiss.]
[Action]
[She wraps her arms around Gai's back and kisses him to match his depth of feeling.] I love you. [She manages to say between kisses.]
[Action]
[It's strange, really, how easily he can now say those words that he'd never before thought he would say in his life. Stranger still is how natural they feel both to say and hear. Now, maybe just a little, he feels like he could answer the question Inori had asked him that day about what love is.
Just being close to Elizabeth like this is almost more than he could ask for. But those kisses are even better, and he's eager to return them with equal ardor, lifting one hand up to stroke her hair as they kiss.]
[Action]
[She wraps one of her legs around Gai's, stretching out under him invitingly.]
[Action]
I'm assuming you want my tongue this time?
[Although he's pretty sure the answer is 'yes,' he wants to make certain this time.]
[Action]
I'll be less jumpy this time, I promise.
[Action]
Oh, I want you to be jumpy. I want you to writhe and moan for me, and pull my hair just like this. I want to know how much you like it.
[Perhaps saying that in that particular tone of voice was cheating. Gai doesn't particularly care.]
[Action]
[Of course, paintings are nice, but she'd like the real thing. She tugs Gai's hair again.] If I could, I would build a church to your tongue and attend service every day.
[Oh she is so going to hell for that suggestion.]
For now you have to be content with me singing my praise on your couch.
[That one too.]
[Action]
[If she's going to hell, she's going to be in very good company, because Gai laughs after he says that. Besides, that sounds like his kind of hell anyway.]
Think I could get you to do scales?
[He makes another pleased sound when she tugs on his hair, pressing a soft kiss to her neck.]
[Action]
I could try singing, see how far I can get with that. [She laughs again.]
[Action]
[After one more kiss to her neck, he sits up slightly, dropping a quick kiss on her lips as he does so. But she'll have to detach her fingers from his hair if she wants him to be able to position himself, so he just remains where he is for the moment, waiting for her to do so.]
[Action]
If you should ever leave me-- Though life would still go on believe me...
The world could show nothing to me, So what good would living do me?
[Action]
She has a lovely voice-- he could listen to it all day, he thinks. It's enough to make him pause in place and just listen, his objective forgotten for the time being.]
[Action]
God...
[Elizabeth trails off, realizing that Gai isn't moving any lower. Is he just... listening to her?]
[She's, of course, instantly self-conscious because Gai writes music and probably has professional singers sing it.]
Oh, you were joking... right. [She tries to laugh it off.]
[Action]
Now he knows.]
... I want you to sing my songs.
[Action]
[Well... she remembers bits of the tune, and some of the words. From the look on his face and the way he's touching her now, her singing is somehow speaking to him, making him happy. If he wants to hear one of his songs, Elizabeth can't deny him.]
Wild flower blossoming-- I beg of you, tell me this so I know too...
[Action]
He almost doesn't want to interrupt her. But the surge of affection and desire spreading from his chest outwards finally wins out, and he leans down to kiss her again, wanting to show her just how happy she made him with that.]
[Action]
[She wraps her arms around his shoulders, almost feeling Gai's delight through his skin. She made him happy, thank goodness.]
Write me something happy. [Elizabeth smiles, barely brushing her lips against Gai's.] And I'll sing it, over and over like a broken record.
[Action]
I don't know if I can, but I'll try.
[The songs he wrote... they weren't happy songs. That was Inori's domain, not his. His songs were dark, melancholy, because they gave him a place to express the feelings he didn't have any other outlet for. "Happy" is a strange and unfamiliar territory for him. But if that's what she wants, then he'll give it his best.]
[Action]
Then write me something you want to hear me sing. Something that will make you happy.
[Action]
That I think I can definitely manage.
[Action]
I don't want to make you sad when I sing, that's all.
[There were songs she couldn't sing without wanting to cry, after all. Music could be the cheap, consumable thing that Fink stole and sold, or it could be haunting and beautiful, it could cut straight to the soul. And words that looks simple on a page could be something else entirely when said aloud.]
[Action]
[Not if she was singing a song he wrote and if she was singing it for him. No matter how sad the lyrics may be, something tells him that it would always manage to warm his heart. That's one thing he's sure of.
... but now he wants to see if he can induce singing of a very different sort in her; he's being terrible and he knows it, but he uses this as an opportunity to slide his hand back down again to where it had been earlier...]
