[That is definitely a pleased noise that he makes when she grabs his tie. More forward than he'd been expecting, for sure, and now he's wondering just what other surprises she has in store for him tonight. Whatever they are, he's looking forward to them.

He's stepping through the door the instant she opens it, not even caring whether it's closed behind them or not.]

Now why would you want to do something like that?

[At least it's just a short walk down the hall to his apartment now...]

Thrill of the chase? [She nuzzles Gai's cheek, grinning agains his jaw.] I think it's called 'playing hard to get'...?

[Once they get to Gai's door she takes a quick look to see where the lock is in relation to her. Then she holds Gai's gaze and pulls a pin out of her hair, causing the elaborate style to fall out.]

I suppose you want me to open that...?

[When she nuzzles him, Gai turns his head so that he can murmur to her. The tone he's employing right now is almost as hot as his breath against her ear when he speaks.]

Unfortunately, I'm far too impatient for any sort of chase right now.

[Then, smirking, he kisses her cheek before he straightens back up, keeping his eyes locked on hers. While he's a little sad at the loss of that nice hairstyle, he has to admit that the more tousled look suits her just as well.]

If you don't mind. I would do it myself, but my hands are somewhat occupied.

[Elizabeth shudders under Gai's voice, realizing she's becoming far more sensitive than she's been before. She looks a little hazy for a moment before biting her lip and sliding the pin into the lock and jimmying it around for a moment. The lock clicks and Elizabeth pushes the door open.]

I like them occupied.

Don't worry-- I'll make sure to keep them occupied for the rest of the night.

[That look on her face is exactly the sort of thing he was going for. She's giving him the honor of her first time, so he wants to be damn sure he makes it worth it for her; the more relaxed and turned on he can get her before the actual thing happens, the better.

So focused is he on her that he kicks the door shut behind them a little harder than he intended, causing it to shut with a slamming sound that echoes down the hallway. Whoops, don't mind him.]

[Elizabeth jumps at the slam, clinging to Gai again. Though after a moment she laughs and rests her forehead on Gai's cheek.] Are you nervous too?

[Gai gives her an apologetic and slightly sheepish look as he pauses to just enjoy this closeness for a moment. Smooth move, Gai. Way to go.]

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't.

[Elizabeth makes a quiet assenting sound, then slides a hand around Gai's neck in a little hug.]

I can take some pain, but I'd like it if we could go slowly... if it's alright.

[When she does that, he takes the opportunity to lean down for a kiss. It's soft and loving, gentle rather than hungry, despite his body urging him to make it more. He wants to make this memorable for her in a way that doesn't involve pain, though he's not so naive as to think there won't be any at all.

At last he pulls back with a soft smile on his face.]

I promised that I'd make this worth it for you, and that's a promise I intend to keep. Don't worry... I'll take it so slowly that you'll be begging me to go faster.

[Is that a promise? That might be a promise.]

[Elizabeth laughs quietly, because she's imagining Gai unbuttoning her dress one button per minute--yes, that would be too slow.]

[She nods, initiating a brief, soft kiss of her own.] I think the first thing, before any begging happens, is you have to put me down so I can undress.

[Now he laughs, and after one more quick kiss, he does as she requests.]

I also seem to recall promising not to damage the dress in the process. Something about wanting to see you in it again...

Exactly. [Elizabeth points at Gai sternly as she retreats to the bedroom.] This dress is pristine when I leave here tomorrow.

And the same goes for this suit if you want to see me in it again.

[He'll just follow her there, already reaching up to undo his tie on the way. The sooner he can get this thing off, the better.]

[Once she gets to the bedroom, Elizabeth turns around to help Gai out of his jacket. Not at all in a rush, checking to make sure Gai's alright with her helping.]

[He is very much all right with this. He allows himself the briefest moment of being surprised by her boldness before he's helping to undo the buttons and get the front of it open to allow her to slide it off his shoulders. Once that's done, he's just going to chuck it haphazardly onto a chair-- he said no damaging it, but he never said they had to hang it up or treat it delicately.

Right now, he just wants it off.]

[Elizabeth watches the jacket go away, then looks back. She's fascinated by the way Gai's frame fits in the shirt, and her hands go sliding across his shoulders experimentally.]

[Her hands travel down over his arms, and she finds the buttons on his cuffs and unbuttons them one at a time.]

[It's a very tailored shirt to fit beneath such a close-fitting jacket, emphasizing his frame far more than a regular dress shirt would. He raises an eyebrow when she reaches out to touch him, but just allows her hands to roam, tracing down until they begin to unbutton his cuffs.

He would make a move to help her, or to perhaps begin unbuttoning the front of the shirt, except it's a bit difficult to do anything with his hands while she's working on those buttons. So he just remains patient as she gets those buttons undone, resisting the urge to try to reach out and find the closures on her dress... wherever they are.]

[Naturally, in the back. Elizabeth had originally tried to find a dress without a back closure because... well. She wasn't perfect. That tiny wound had scarred, of course, and it was too perfectly round and perfectly positioned over her spine to be something that had happened as an accident.]

[But she doesn't want to get into that now. She reaches up and unbuttons Gai's shirt from the top down.]

[His hands freed, Gai reaches around in search of the buttons, being very careful not to pull on or stretch the dress in any way. He did make a promise, after all, and he knows he'd never hear the end of it if he caused even accidental damage to that dress.

But something is missing from this whole scenario. Even if their hands are occupied, they could be putting their mouths to good use while they get all of this pesky clothing off. After the way Elizabeth had kissed him over the table back in Seventh Heaven... well, let's just say that Gai wants more of that.

So he leans down to capture her mouth with his, just softly at first to allow her to set the pace.]

[That does help Elizabeth to break some of her tension. She kisses Gai softly too, starting to fumble a little with the buttons. She laughs quietly as she has to look down to get one working, but then she's looking up again and peppering Gai's lips with little heated kisses.]

[After a couple of moments of this, Gai breaks the kissing with a quiet laugh.]

How many buttons does this dress of yours have?

[Translation: there are too many and I can't get them undone fast enough. She's almost finished with his shirt and he's sure he can't even be halfway down the dress yet.]

Ten? Twelve? [She grins and finishes Gai's shirt--at least, she finishes the portion that isn't tucked into his pants.]

...here, I'll just... turn around. It'll be easier if you can see them.

[There's a quick mental debate whether she should say something or not... but then she decides against it. Maybe he won't notice...]

Too many.

[He nuzzles her hair briefly before stepping back to allow her to turn around, taking advantage of the separation to untuck his shirt from his pants and make swift work of those last couple of buttons.]

It's the style, Gai. [She grins and turns around, immediately biting her lip as soon as she's facing away from him.]

Style is also responsible for straitjackets like the one you just helped me out of. Your point?

[But his tone is teasing; it's clear he isn't actually bothered about wearing the suit.

It's when he steps forward and raises his hands to begin his work on the buttons again that he notices it: that small, perfectly circular scar right over her spine. He's had enough experience with experimentation himself to know that mark is no accident, and for a moment he's seeing red. Someone experimented on her. Someone hurt her on purpose.

He has to take a slow breath to steady himself, to calm the rage that's quickly rising within him. But he won't say a word about it. This isn't the time or the place to dredge up memories like that. Tonight is a night for making Elizabeth feel good and happy and loved, and so he bites his lip and resumes his work on those buttons as if he'd never noticed it at all.]
